THEY ARE BUILT FOR COMFORT
To give customers the comfort and coziness they desire, Barefoot Dreams builds their robes with machine-washable, 100% polyester microfiber material that will not tear, pill, or shrink. The robe’s material means it is both thick and cushy, giving way to a slight stretch, but heavy enough to satisfy and keep warm. The robe’s texture falls somewhere between velour and sherpa, but customers will find it very pleasing to the touch.

THE COMPANY STARTED IN 1994
It was back in 1994 when Annette Cook began designing children’s products that eventually would turn into Barefoot Dreams. When husband Stan came into her life, Annette had already been selling (quite well, in fact) her products at local swap meets. The two would eventually marry and combine their efforts to start a company that would grow into what it is today.
Annette Cook was fortunate to see her dreams come true. From their small little Malibu, California apartment, the Cooks, and their three boys, turned their tiny business venture into a thriving, comfy machine. Annette saw the growth, saw them move from a small apartment into a nice, huge home, and was ever present, running the business as its CEO.
Sadly, Annette Cook lost her life in 2012 after a three-year battle with colon cancer. Stan took over the mantle as Barefoot Dreams CEO and since then has dedicated his life to continuing to build on Annette’s dreams and hard work. In fact, after years of doing all of their business online, Stan opened the very first brick-and-mortar Barefoot Dreams retail store in Malibu in 2020.
This store was met with open arms and has been so successful that Stan opened a second location. The quality has not suffered, nor has its popularity.
