This year is especially interesting for retailers. Stores are already drowning in leftover merchandise, the sales this year should be especially great. To get the best deals, holiday shoppers should wait just before Christmas–on Super Saturday. However, shoppers who wait until after the holidays will enjoy 80-90% off retail prices. Due to inflation, many retailers didn’t get the bump in sales they were expecting.

Experts say that this year if you can keep your patience in check and shop right before Christmas, you’ll get the sales you’ve been hoping for. This is great news for those who like to shop for others and shop for themselves at the same time.

This year, customers are extremely cautious. With dire warnings of a recession and many tech giants forcing layoffs in droves, spending has been down. Everyone is looking for the best deals this year, including holiday shoppers!

Retailers are currently overstocked, and the push to purge their 2022 wares will be big. This is especially true for products that are trendy or that will lose value in the coming year. An example of this would be clothing. So stock up on those cashmere sweaters the day after Christmas! Chances are, you’ll get a deal. That is fantastic news for holiday shoppers.

Retailers like Target and Walmart were already poised to combat the year’s low projections. Walmart already changed tactics early this year and started appealing to a different demographic–those who are more wealthy. This is because those with more money will be attracted to Walmart’s new line of lingerie and upscaled brands.

Holiday shoppers who follow some easy rules this year will end up saving big time. Some rules this year to score the big savings are to know what you want to buy and where you want to buy it, research online, and be sure to check out some local Goodwills in your area. Many Goodwills are getting packed with not even used goods directly from the manufacturer. Sometimes they don’t even make it to the store!

Holiday shoppers don’t have to do a lot this year to experience big savings. According to experts retailers are very nervous this year, and they know they have to take big steps to get rid of products that more than likely won’t sell next year.

Retailers will start to want stocking up for the next holiday season–which is Valentine’s Day. So things like perfumes, jewelry, and self-care products are sure to have deep discounts. Retailers will not want to push last year’s wares. So holiday shoppers can take advantage of this information. In fact, you should just go out and buy something cute for yourself!

Experts say that even electronics could see deep discounts. This is something that many experts say they have not seen in over 20 years. Those in the know do warn to take a look at the stores’ return policies so they aren’t stuck with products they don’t want. Holiday shoppers, start your engines, and let’s save!

Even if you start shopping the week before Christmas (known as Super Saturday) you could save up to 60-70% off. So, count down just a couple of days, and then get ready to shop!
