Is there anything more annoying than having flies buzzing around the home? You are cooking or having dinner and there is that one, annoying flying insect, ready to pounce on anything and everything. You grab that gut-splattering fly swatter but are either too slow or don’t want to lay waste to these insects around your food; which is why you may want to consider a ZEVO flying insect trap.

INSECT TRAPS COME IN TWO TYPES: STICKY OR CONTAINER

Flying insect traps are built for both indoor and outdoor use. They come in two different styles; the first style is a container trap. Container traps are often used more for flies and some of these are reusable, though they can be a bit messy to clean out.

The second type of insect trap is a sticky trap. These basically use sticky sheets of paper, are easy on the wallet, and typically are thrown away after being used. The ZEVO flying insect trap is a sticky trap, but the beauty of this one is that the sticky tape is removable and refillable.

ZEVO FLYING INSECT TRAP USES UV LIGHT TO ATTRACT BUGS

The ZEVO flying insect trap is more than just a sticky trap. It is built with a durable base that is a plug-in. The reason for this is that the ZEVO flying insect trap uses UV and blue light to attract those flying pests. The trap comes with a powerful, adhesive pad that is removable and can be disposed of easily.

The ZEVO flying insect trap is one of the best ways to catch flying insects without any mess or odor. It’s designed to catch house flies, fruit flies, and even gnats, all of those little, annoying flying insects we can do without. You will enjoy your “no-fly zone.”

The ZEVO flying insect trap is also an inexpensive way to rid your home, garage, and even workshop of flying pests. You can find them in just about any home improvement store, Walmart, Target, etc. and you can also find them on the ZEVO website. Of course, if you are an Amazon shopper, you can find the product there as well.

They start at $19.98 on Amazon for the starter kit that comes with the ZEVO flying insect trap and one refill cartridge. You can also get the refill cartridges that come two in a box for $11.39 on Amazon.

THE ZEVO FLYING INSECT TRAP IS EASY TO SET UP AND REPLACE

The ZEVO flying insect trap is an easy setup. Once you have your trap, you will need to insert the disposable cartridge, which comes with the trap. You will first snap the cartridge into the base of the device making sure the removable backing is facing the electrical plug and then peel off the removable backing to reveal the sticky adhesive.

The next thing you will do is simply plug it in. As the power begins to course its way through the device, you will see the combination of ultraviolet and blue light. After some time, flies and gnats will begin to become attracted to the light and fly right into it; presto sticko.

Now, just let the ZEVO flying insect trap do its thing. After it has been working overtime for 15 days, check the trap to see what goodies have been caught. If it is full of flies and gnats, go ahead and remove the disposable cartridge, give it a silent thanks, then toss it in the garbage.

If, by chance, the sticky cartridge isn’t yet full, go ahead and put it back. You can then leave the sticky cartridge for another 15 days. The maximum time you want to keep a cartridge in the trap is 30 days after which you will want to swap it out no matter how full the trap is.

Like many homes, your flying insect problem may only be a seasonal issue, so there may be times during the year when you don’t use it at all. If this is the case, good for you and even better for your wallet. If it isn’t the case, you may need to stock up on the replacement cartridges.

Replacing the used ZEVO flying insect trap sticky cartridges is just as easy as initially setting up the bug killer. Simply pop out the used cartridge and snap the new one in place. Don’t forget to remove the backing before you plug the device back into the wall.

THEY CAN BE USED BOTH INDOORS AND IN COVERED OUTDOOR SPACES

The ZEVO was designed to be used in rooms where flying insects enter as well as where they gather, including covered patios, garages, kitchens, and entryways. Seeing as that they are mess and odor free, you can be confident in placing them just about anywhere in or around your home. Your first order of business, though, is to determine where you are having your flying insect problem.

The key to making the ZEVO flying insect trap work successfully is to find an electrical outlet that is closest to your problem area. It would probably behoove you to place the trap in outlets nearest to trash cans, house plants, fruit and vegetable bowls, and even litter boxes and toilet bowls. But make sure wherever you place it that you can see it because if you can’t see it, then those pesky flying insects won’t see it either.

Of course, there are also a couple of places you are going to want to avoid when plugging in the ZEVO flying insect trap. Definitely do not use the trap in uncovered outdoor spaces where rain or wetness can get to it. You are also not going to want to place it near computer or TV screens or in areas where things like curtains, furniture, or corners of the house can obstruct its view.

THE ZEVO FLYING INSECT TRAPS ARE VERY SAFE WITH NO CHEMICALS

You may be wondering, especially if you have children or pets, just how safe the ZEVO flying insect traps are given that they plug into electrical sockets. Well, as with any electrical device, you want to make sure the youngest kids stay away. But the device is plenty safe as it uses no chemical sprays, only sticky adhesive, and it has no odor whatsoever.

The ZEVO flying insect trap is small and portable, so you can move it into any room you wish. The glow from the blue/UV light is not bothersome, so you won’t have to deal with that issue either. If flying insects are a problem, your remedy is the ZEVO flying insect trap.
