According to the vice president at Whirlpool, the unique system outperformed standard washers in the testing phase. The Maytag Pet Pro washer removes up to 5 times more pet hair than their other lines. And, if the washer misses a few pieces, the dryer will catch it. The Pet Pro dryer features an optional extended dry time without heat that helps lift fur off clothing and other items.

Maytag launched the new line this week, making it available for online purchase. For those shoppers who prefer to inspect their appliances in person, you can do so at Lowe’s beginning in October.
