If you are a fan of KFC’s iconic menu items and you happen to live in Australia then you could be in for a real treat. KFC Australia is leveling up its menu in a major way. Food & Wine detailed that with the help of distinguished chef Nelly Robinson of Sydney’s nel. restaurant, KFC will be serving up a special 11-course dégustation featuring an enhanced selection of its most beloved menu staples.

With its new 11-course special tasting experience KFC is truly taking its cuisine to the next level. This is made particularly evident in its dégustation designation. To degust is defined as “to carefully taste something so as to appreciate fully.” The term comes from the Latin root word degustare which means to “taste completely.” Essentially, dégustation is the act of fully tasting something. KFC’s mission with this leveled-up menu is to have diners fully experience their food in a new heightened way through what they are referring to as a “high-end dining adventure.”

Nelly Robinson, the mastermind behind elevating the classic KFC dishes spared no expense in crafting this new first-class KFC dining experience. Diners will have the opportunity to feast on chicken wings that have been exquisitely charred over hot coals and then infused with a liquid seasoning to accentuate their innate flavor profile. Lock your eyes on the alluring chicken below.

Then if you thought it couldn’t get more delicious, diners will be presented with a KFC signature drumstick laying atop of bed of quinoa and elegantly dusted with flecks of gold. All of this sumptuous goodness will be accompanied by an edible arrangement of sauces artfully drawn in the likeness of Colonel Sanders himself. Talk about a drool-worthy experience if there ever was one. Take a sneak peek at some of the courses below.
